July 15, 2008: (From AMICC) Suriname set to become 107th ICC State Party as world celebrates 10th anniversary of Rome Statute adoption: On July 15, 2008 the government of Suriname deposited its instrument of accession with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and will become a State Party to the ICC on October 1, 2008. Suriname's accession came two days before worldwide events and celebrations in the US marking International Justice Day and the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute on July 17, 1998.
